Fal Oyster Ltd

Fal Oyster Ltd

Description

Fal Oyster Ltd. t/a Cornish Native Oysters has evolved from a single wooden sailboat called the ‘Alf Smythers’ (2008) to a fully recognised, approved and accredited merchant (2009) of fish and shellfish. Including the very unique and prestigious ‘Protected Designation of Origin’ verified by Trading Standards (2015). A ‘Fal Oyster’ is unique as it is likely to be the last natural native oyster fishery and it is certainly the last traditional sailing fleet.
