Kevin Penney fishes from his small boat Bess using crabpots, nets and handlines. Kevin is the founder of Dreckly Fish, a cooperative of sustainable inshore Cornish fishermen who sell direct to the public via Twitter. The Dreckly Fish team all use low impact selective methods of fishing, and operate with a low carbon footprint. Kev hasn't always been a fisherman, he previously worked in IT and has been a yacht skipper. He came back to England after travelling the world, and decided to become a fisherman in Cornwall.
