Introducing Roberts Vpils who is a crew member living and working on the Intuition TO40. He came over from his home country of Lativa over 10 years ago and has been fishing ever since! He uses baited pots to capture crabs and lobsters, a highly selective and sustainable method and sells his catch to The Real Cornish Crab Company.

"I didn't plan on becoming a fisherman, I first came here when I was 22 to earn money. The first few days at sea were a nightmare, like they are for everybody! I'm 34 now and I like my job; I get to work in fresh air looking out at the beautiful sea. Living on a boat means that I can save more money for my family and I can never be late for work! But I do miss my bed back home in Latvia."

To get Roberts fresh localy and sustainably sourced shellfish head over to The Real Cornish Crab Company here.
