Changes to Cornwall Good Seafood Guide ratings have been released for consultation.
We work closely with the Marine Conservation Society Good Fish Guide, and this summer's consultation document including all the ratings reviewed by both MCS and Cornwall Good Seafood guide, based on the most recent available scientific advice and management information, are now live for consultation. If you have an interest in our ratings and have technical insight and information that could contribute to the comprehensiveness and quality of these assessments, we welcome your input before 5pm on Friday 3rd September 2021.
There are a couple of things we would like to draw your attention to:
• As always, Cornwall-Specific ratings (rated by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, for the Cornwall Good Seafood Guide, using MCS Good Fish Guide methodology), are listed on a separate tab.
• As is our standard practice, we have listed some ratings for deletion that we do not believe to be relevant to the UK market and / or UK fisheries and aquaculture production. We would be very keen to receive feedback on these.
Please feel free to share this page to anyone you think might be interested in contributing to this consultation.
The consultation will close at 5pm on Friday 3rd September 2021.
